Dr. Shane Brookshire
Dr Brookshire is the current owner of Raymore Veterinary Center. Dr. Brookshire graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Dr Brookshire has owned a clinic previously, worked in the Animal Health Industry and also worked as a relief veterinarian before coming to Raymore.
He and his wife, Amy, and their 5 boys have a farm where they raise cattle, as well as owning two dogs and two cats.
Dr. Vaughn graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation she worked in a progressive small animal hospital in Las Vegas for 3 years. There she developed specific interests in surgery, dentistry and neonatal medicine.
After a few years in Sin City it was time to come back home to Kansas City where Dr. Vaughn grew up. She swapped the desert landscape for a 20 acre farm where her and her husband, Jeff, and daughter, Harper, enjoy time fishing on their lake and exploring the outdoors. Currently they own 5 dogs, 3 cats and a bearded dragon. It is likely the farm will expand over the next few years and welcome more animals!
Dr. Haley Dingfelder
Dr. Dingfelder joined the practice in December of 2020 having worked in the Clinton and Warsaw areas most recently. She graduated from University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and has worked/continues to work in both large and small animal medicine. She grew up on a South Devon cattle ranch and raised Quarter Horses in her childhood. She is the proud owner of a quirky cat named Schrodinger and an adorable but stubborn rescue Pitbull named Bruce. She enjoys riding her motorcycle(s) with Bruce and her best friend/significant other, Andrew in their spare time. They also enjoy scuba diving and traveling together. Her professional interests include small animal preventative care, internal medicine, dermatology, and nutrition. She also has an interest in general medicine/preventative care for livestock, horses, and small ruminants.
I am the practice manager and have been at Raymore Veterinary Center as a Registered Veterinary Technician since I graduated from Maple Woods in 2016. I have one dog, one cat and one lovely child. I love spending time with my family and my animals. I also have a passion for fishing and riding four wheelers.
I am a mother of three children, two girls and one boy. Our home is guarded by two dachshunds and three cats. My hobbies include fishing, camping, and spending time with my kids.
I have worked at Raymore Veterinary Center Since 2011. I grew up on a farm in Raymore, showing horses and cattle and graduated from Raymore Peculiar High school. I currently am attending Longview Community College. In my spare time I show horses.
I have worked in the veterinary medical field since 1996. The first two years, I assisted at an emergency clinic, which was a great learning experience. For the past 20 years, I have worked with Raymore Veterinary Center assisting in small animal medicine and surgery.
I have four daughters and one mischievous dog. I am definitely a dog person but love all animals. I really enjoy my job and can’t imagine doing anything else.
I’ve been at RVC since 2015, and took some time to work at an emergency clinic which was a great learning experience. I will always have a place in my heart for ER but I love my Raymore family. Working in this field has allowed me to form bonds with people and their beloved pets which I am truly grateful for. I have 3 spoiled rotten dogs and 1 cat of my own that have me very well trained.
I started at Raymore Vet Center as an intern while going through college to become a RVT in 2019. I recently graduated from Crowder College in 2020 and passed my VTNE in early August to become a RVT. I enjoy drinking coffee, taking naps with my cat, and taking care of my many house plants.
I am new to the Raymore veterinary Center family just starting in early April of 2021. I started my career with another small animal hospital and worked in the field for about 2 and a half years and had to take a break for about a year. I knew life would always send me back to doing what I love and the chance came and I took it.
I have 2 children, a fantastic supportive husband, 3 dogs and 1 cat at home. Although I have a full house of crazy animals (human and animals alike) I can whole heartedly say that I love my “job” and my colleagues here at Raymore Veterinary Center.
